The Caboose Museum

Located behind the White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, the Caboose Museum offers a look into the railroading history of Montague and Whitehall.  After sitting many years as simply a storage building for the Chamber, the Caboose Museum was renovated with the help of many volunteers and was opened in June 2009. 

The Caboose Museum is open during normal Chamber business hours from spring through fall, Monday through Friday 9am-5pm.  From Memorial Day to Labor Day, it is open on Saturdays 9am-3pm and Sundays Noon-2pm.

All of the historical Caboose artifacts inside were donated.  The Caboose Museum is still looking for a few more additions to make it complete.  For information on donating an authentic caboose item, please contact the Chamber at 800-879-9702.
