Smith Orchard Cottage

The Smith Orchard Cottage is located at 7350 Old Channel Trail about five miles outside of Montague. It is a five minute walk to the Dune Sanctuary at Lloyd's Landing and a fifteen minute walk to the Government Channel connecting White Lake to Lake Michigan. Swim in the blue waters of Lake Michigan. Walk the white sand beaches. Play golf at Old Channel Trail Golf Course (36 Holes), two miles north of cottage. Explore the 150 year old Mouth Cemetery. Snooze in the yard hammock, and watch a spectacular sunset over Lake Michigan.

The cottage has two bedrooms each with a double bed; one full bathroom; a utility room with washer and dryer and small cot; and a day bed couch on the front porch. (Total sleeping accommodation is six.) There is a full kitchen with portable dishwasher, and a working wood burning fireplace. Linens and towels provided.
