Hot Chili for a Cool City II
Saturday, February 26, 2011
5:00 pm
Pub One Eleven
111 Colby Street
Whitehall, MI 49461
On the heels of Whitehall’s Sesquicentennial Celebration, continued efforts are in the works for another beautification fundraiser. The floral each year looks lovely but we’d like a little more floral explosion yet again this year.
The Chili tasting “Hot Chili for a Cool City” is a celebration of a couple of veteran Chili-Masters, Tom Mallory and Steve Mayberry and a newcomer, Pam McDonald, doing their thing. Delicious chili trimmings and desserts will be prepared by Jean Corsi.
The fundraiser will be Saturday February 26th, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. “until the chili’s gone.” The event will be held at Pub One Eleven, 111 W. Colby Street, Whitehall, Michigan.
All funds raised will benefit the Downtown Whitehall beautification project. Show your pride in Whitehall by supporting this event. Cost is $8.00 for adults and $3.00 for children 12 and under.
After sampling the chili’s, head a couple blocks down the street to the Howmet Playhouse for the Cajun Crawl at 7:30 p.m., featuring The Hawktones with Junior Valentine. Tickets are $10.00. Following the Cajun Crawl, head back to Pub One Eleven at 9:30 p.m. for King B and the Buzz Tones.
